VINEYARD: Bright ruby red colour. At first it shows flowery scents of rose, then vanille scents from the little wood casks where the wine has been finished. It has a medium intensity bouquet.

In the mouth, the acid side is milded by the wood: so the wine is rightly round and balanced, though its strusture isn't too strong. It's pleasantly light in the end. It has to be drunk before it ages. Not suitable for seasoning.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: Is a deep ruby red wine with a slightly bluish tinge. Light notes of vanilla and spices accompany the typical Barbera aromas: plum, blackberry and almond. A well defined, harmonious body, soft and pervasive with a complexity which improves with age.

MATURING 6 months in 225 l. lbarriques of

ENOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS Alcohol levels: 13,50% vol.

SEASONING: 7 months in Slavonia oak casks

PACKING: 6 bottles laid in a cardboard box.
